I've called Thelen's several times over the past few years, and have been consistently pleased with their service. They are prompt, curteous, and professional. They've usually had the repair part with them-- I can't recall a time when I've paid them travel time back to the shop for a part (one of my pet peeves for a service call!). Wether it's been John (the owner I believe), another serviceman, or the office staff, I've been impressed with the level of customer service and knowledgeable and timely repair of my furnace or A/C. I find their rates to be on-par with other locally owned heating, plumbing, HVAC contractors.

Somewhat partial towards Thelen Heating and Roofing... Some of the best workers, guys, and friends around... Oh and I know our house won't need a roof anytime soon as we have a rolled rubber roof installed.

Thelen responded to our after hours emergency call. They were helpful over the phone but the issue was unclear without looking at the issue. He arrived a little early and had the igniter on our furnace working in 10 minutes. Service was very friendly, professional, and prompt. It ended up being a simple fix but it was quick and helpful. The issue was that our furnace was running but only blowing cold air. We determined the igniter wasn't working but could not figure out why. He restarted it and got the igniter working again by simply reconnecting it and restarting the furnace. It was very affordable- they only charge $88/hour for their service (plus cost of parts if needed).

I had Thelen do some work on some windows at my house. They were quick in scheduling, easy to work with, did solid work and proved that they were honest about what needed to be done. Even suggested not doing work that was unnecessary. You don't find that every day. I highly suggest working with Thelen.
